DevLog 3: enemies
This week I have been working on the enemies in Mats-Maze, I've struggled with implement this into my game for multiple reasons unfortunately. I went through around ten enemy sprites before finding a suitable one, which still ended up not working correctly as my E and NE animations were jumping erratically. I ended up entering my sprite sheet into GIMP and flipping the image so I could use the original W and NW sprite as E and NE instead. After all that I transferred the seek and pursuit scripts from the tutorials and have attached it to my enemy game object, I'm still planning to add more enemies but unsure if ill have the time I need in-between other classes, here's hoping. I got the enemy sprite from here: https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/76913106126376710/.
I expanded the map and redone the floor tile map as i accidently changed the size of the floor and couldn't get it back to normal, so I've added a bit more detail in the pavement. Today I want to add some spawn points for my enemy's and finish my map and hopefully have my 4th DevLog up tonight.
Here I have a picture of my map currently and my enemy sprite:
